Calligraphy Workshops
Course outline
This introductory class is perfect for beginners and covers type anatomy, grid structure, assembling your nib and pen holder, understanding ink flow and nib pressure, and how to create simple strokes to develop basic letterforms.
Work kit includes
A penholder, x1 Gillot 303 nib, x1 pot of ink, x1 Bleed-proof pad, x1 booklet, x1 guide and alphabet practice sheet.

Brush Lettering Workshops
Course outline
This introductory class is perfect for beginners and covers type anatomy, grid structure, understanding pressure of the brush pen and basic strokes to develop letterforms. At the end of the class we’ll create a beautiful postcard that you can send to someone special (or keep all to yourself!)
Work kit includes
x2 Brush pens, x1 bank pad, x1 take home booklet, guides and alphabet practice sheets.

This class is a great introduction to the art of lettering. The workshop covers different techniques and lettering styles that will help add pizazz to your letters. At the end of the session, you will be able to create a customised piece that is bursting with personality.
